Ryzen 7000

AMD unveiled its plans for the Ryzen 7000 processor series in May 2022. The CPUs came onto the market later that year and we had the test reports online on launch day. The new processors are based on the 5 nm manufacturing process and use the Zen 4 architecture. The generation runs under the code name “Raphael” and, in addition to the new AM5 socket, also brought market innovations such as DDR5 and PCIe 5.0 support.
