Game optimizations and stability fixes

The latest update provides official support and optimization for World of Tanks: HEAT and the 2026 Season Pack for F1 25.

In addition to support for games, the update also fixes critical stability issues. Radeon RX 9000 series graphics card owners will receive a fix for intermittent application crashes in Marvel Rivals and Subnautica 2. For RX 6000 series users, tahe update fixes visual artifacts that previously occurred in Enshrouded.

AMD has also fixed an issue with the hardware behavior of the RX 9000 series. Previously, zero speed mode would unexpectedly re-enable when the system went into soft sleep or the connected monitor was turned off.

Outstanding issues and technical limitations

While the 26.6.1 update fixes several bugs, AMD has identified a list of known issues that are currently under investigation.

Particularly affected is Battlefield 6, which experienced driver timeouts and application crashes on the AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX 370. This title may also experience texture flickering when using the Record and Stream functions. Radeon RX 9000 series users will also notice that FSR Frame Generation and Upscaling are shown as inactive in the software settings while playing the game.

Professional users using Radeon RX 7000 series cards or higher will continue to experience a crashing issue in Blender. AMD advises these users to revert to driver version 26.3.1 until a fix is implemented.

Other known issues include a purple screen error for HP Reverb G2 headsets using SteamVR on RX 6000 series hardware. Also, some users in regions with limited access to HuggingFace may experience errors when attempting to install AI Bundle components.
