The Crew is set to be released for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and possibly also for the current generation of consoles. The game could be developed by Ubisoft Reflections, the studio behind Driver: San Francisco. To ensure success, the project is reportedly being supported by the French studio Ivory Tower. This team has previously worked on V-Rally (PS), Need for Speed, and Test Drive Unlimited.
If the rumors are true, Ubisoft would already have a solid foundation for a successful racing simulation. However, it remains to be seen whether the market needs yet another one. At the same time, the source did not reveal any information about the gameplay or whether The Crew will also be released for the Nintendo Wii U.
