EPOMAKER Split70: Tri-Mode Wireless, Ergonomic Typing Goes Mainstream

The Split70 focuses on practical applications. Four dedicated macro keys—for Undo, Cut, Copy, and Paste—are easy to reach and can be remapped via VIA. A tactile rotary knob on the right side controls volume or scrolling and features a mute function, allowing for quick context switching during phone calls or editing sessions.

Inside, the Split70 features a sealed mounting structure with five layers of acoustic material, including latex and PET films. The result is a muted, consistent key feel with a soft keystroke—an improvement over the Split65’s four-layer construction. South-facing LEDs prevent interference with common keycap profiles while ensuring clean and uniform RGB lighting.

Customization remains central. The keyboard comes with factory-lubricated Wisteria Linear V2 switches, which offer a smoother travel than the V1 switches used in the Split65. Hot-swappable sockets allow for switch replacement without soldering, and full VIA programmability covers the remapping of individual keys, levels, macros, and lighting. Connectivity is tri-mode—Bluetooth 5.0, 2.4 GHz wireless, and USB-C wired. The Split70 also includes Mac modifier keys that simplify cross-platform workflows on Windows, macOS, and Android.

EPOMAKER offers two designs: a white-and-blue variant with independent side lights for a brighter desk aesthetic, and a black version for minimalist or gaming-oriented setups. Both feature the same split chassis and the same functions, giving users the ability to customize ergonomics, acoustics, and appearance without sacrificing functionality.
