Xbox Game Pass Integration for Discord Nitro

Starting May 11, the Discord Nitro membership was expanded to include the Xbox Game Pass Starter Edition. This addition allows Nitro subscribers to access a curated selection of titles from the Game Pass library.

To make discovering games easier, Discord has implemented new feature triggers. When a user views a friend’s activity or a live stream on Discord, they can now use dedicated “Play” and “Xbox Game Pass” buttons to launch titles directly, reducing the barrier between social interaction and gameplay.

New Benefits for Xbox Game Pass Subscribers

The partnership also offers benefits for those who already have an Xbox Game Pass subscription. Starting this month, eligible Game Pass members will receive a range of exclusive benefits within the Discord ecosystem.

These benefits include a monthly allocation of 250 Discord Orbs and a 1.2x bonus on Orbs earned by completing Discord quests. Additionally, Game Pass members will receive automatic discounts when purchasing items from the Discord Store.
