AMD EXPO Ultra Low Latency Technology
The Flare X5X series is designed for use with AMD EXPO Ultra Low Latency (ULL). Unlike standard EXPO profiles, EXPO ULL includes finely tuned memory sub-timings. This technical adjustment is intended to reduce latency and improve performance at the same clock speed compared to conventional DDR5 memory kits.
To take advantage of these performance gains, the system must be equipped with a compatible AMD CPU and a compatible AMD motherboard, and the BIOS must be updated to a version that supports the EXPO ULL profile. The Flare X5X series features a minimalist hardware aesthetic. The modules do not feature RGB lighting and emphasize a clean appearance in system builds.
The launch specifications for the series are DDR5-6000 CL36-36-36-76 in 32-GB configurations (16 GB × 2). Users should note that these memory kits run at standard SPD speeds by default. To achieve the specified EXPO specifications, users must manually enable the overclocking profile in the BIOS. The actual maximum speed and performance depend on the specific motherboard and the CPU used in the system.
Market Availability
The Flare X5X series is being rolled out globally in several phases. Availability and specific regional pricing are handled through local G.SKILL distribution and retail partners.
