PowerColor Radeon RX 9050 Models
PowerColor currently offers the RX 9050 8 GB as part of its Reaper series. However, the Reaper model—as well as the other cards—is rarely found on the EU market. They are likely intended primarily for system integrators. The leaked low-profile version has not yet been added to the company’s official product catalog. Therefore, official images, the final dimensions, and specific technical changes for the LP version have not yet been definitively confirmed.#
Radeon RX 9050 Specifications
The adjustments for the low-profile model are not yet known, but AMD’s reference specifications for the Radeon RX 9050 provide a foundation for PowerColor to build upon:
- Computing Power: 1,024 stream processors, distributed across 16 compute units.
- Memory configuration: 8 GB of GDDR6 memory with a 128-bit bus.
- Clock speeds: A boost clock frequency of up to 2,600 MHz.
- Power requirements: A typical rated power consumption of 92 W, requiring a single 8-pin power connector.
The power and clock specifications may vary, even though the GPU and VRAM are relatively fixed and provided by AMD. It’s possible that the clock speeds will be lower, since the cooler is simply smaller.
So far, leaks regarding PowerColor graphics cards have always been very reliable, and this will likely be the case with the Radeon RX 9050 LP as well, since the information about the low-profile RDNA 4 graphics card seems solid. But would a card like this be an option for you?
