The 24B2D5300 is equipped with two 23.8-inch IPS panels, both offering Full HD resolution and a refresh rate of 120 Hz. To support modern hardware integration, each screen has its own connections, including HDMI and USB-C. The USB-C port can deliver up to 65W of power, enabling a one-cable configuration for compatible laptops and devices. In addition, the monitor has integrated USB hubs and audio functions.

To ensure the long-term health of users, the displays are equipped with FlickerFree and SoftBlue technology to minimize eye strain and the device carries the Eyesafe Certified 2.0 certification.

Screen management and data protection

The monitor offers two primary display modes: SmartView and DualView. SmartView allows the user to split content from a single source into two virtual areas. DualView, on the other hand, allows the rear screen to be used as a mirror image or as an extension of the front display.

These features have been specifically designed for front-desk use in industries such as banking, healthcare and retail. The hardware enables strict separation of data: Employees can manage sensitive internal information on one screen, while customers see non-confidential details such as transaction data or interactive applications on the opposite side.

Collaboration and efficiency in the workplace

Beyond customer contact, the 24B2D5300 is designed for the modern office. The stand features a 180-degree swivel mechanism so screens can be quickly repositioned for collaboration between colleagues. As each screen can be operated independently with different input sources, two employees can work on the same device at the same time without interfering with each other's workflows.

This compact form factor serves as a space-saving alternative to using two separate monitors, making it a viable option for libraries, universities and small reception areas where desk space is limited.

The Philips 24B2D5300 will be available from specialist retailers in Germany and Austria from May 2026. The recommended retail price is €429. So far, the monitor has only been listed at Proshop for €532 (Affiliate).
