The memory kit was tested and validated with an Intel Core Ultra 7 270K Plus processor in conjunction with an MSI MEG Z890 GODLIKE motherboard. A notable aspect of this validation is that the frequency of 9200 MT/s was achieved on a 4-DIMM motherboard. In the past, such high frequencies were mostly limited to special 2-DIMM overclocking boards due to the increased signal complexity of 4-slot designs.

By operating at the JEDEC standard voltage of 1.1V, the kit avoids the higher voltage requirements normally associated with extreme memory overclocking. This voltage reduction allows the system to achieve high bandwidth without a proportional increase in thermal performance or power consumption, which is critical for sustained stability in professional and AI-driven workloads.

The hardware is designed to support demanding applications such as heavy AI processing and professional content creation. G.SKILL will showcase the memory kit and the corresponding MSI platform at Computex 2026.
