The XF1 is a 2.0 speaker system with a total power output of 72 W RMS. To ensure stable sound reproduction across a wide range of volume levels, the system utilizes a fully active 2-way design. Each driver is paired with its own amplifier and controlled via digital signal processing (DSP) to reduce harmonic distortion.

The hardware includes 3-inch woofers optimized using finite element analysis (FEA) to enhance performance and clarity, paired with 3/4-inch tweeters. Thanks to these components, the speakers cover a wide frequency range from 55 Hz to 40 kHz and meet dual Hi-Res Audio certification for both wired and wireless connections.

Connectivity Options and Integration

The system offers multiple input options to accommodate various hardware environments. Users can stream audio via Bluetooth 6.0 using the LDAC codec, which enables high-bitrate wireless audio. Wired options include a USB-C port that supports 24-bit/96-kHz audio, as well as a standard 3.5-mm analog line-in input.

For users who want deeper bass, the XF1 features a dedicated subwoofer output. This allows the system to be used initially as a standalone 2.0 system and expanded to a 2.1 configuration by adding an external subwoofer.

Software Control and Design

Sound customization is handled via the Creative Nexus app. The software offers a 10-band parametric equalizer for manual adjustment, as well as a library of over 120 presets tailored to specific music genres and game titles.

Visually, the speakers are designed to take up minimal space on a desk and are available in black and white. To improve acoustic alignment, the speakers feature removable cork feet that allow users to tilt them toward the listening position.

The Creative XF1 (model MF1730) will be available starting August 6, 2026. The speaker set costs €159.99 and can be purchased directly from the official Creative website.
