At the heart of the F4-425 Pro is an 8-core Intel N350 processor, paired with 16 GB of DDR5 RAM. To avoid network bottlenecks, the device features two 5-GbE ports that enable linear throughput rates of 1010 MB/s. This configuration is designed to support bandwidth-intensive tasks such as real-time 4K video editing and large-scale data migrations.

With four SATA bays and three M.2 NVMe slots, the device offers significant storage flexibility and achieves a total capacity of 152 TB. The system also uses a proactive defense mechanism called “BBS Proactive Defense.” This AI-powered tool monitors the system for signs of ransomware; if it detects unusual encryption activity, the system automatically locks the affected folders, isolates existing snapshots, and notifies the administrator. This is complemented by AES-256 encryption and a standard 3-2-1-0 backup methodology.

Connectivity is enabled by TNAS.online, which provides remote access via a relay network, as well as by TerraSync, a proprietary P2P engine for real-time file synchronization between different devices. CloudSync is also included to connect the local NAS to hybrid cloud services.
