Acer Launches the Vero CB343CURJ0 34-Inch Curved Monitor

The monitor features an Ultra-Wide Quad HD VA panel (UWQHD) with a resolution of 3440 x 1440 pixels and an aspect ratio of 21:9. To improve viewing angles across the entire widescreen display, the panel features a 1500R curvature. Technical specifications include a 120 Hz refresh rate when connected via DisplayPort and a VRB response time of 1 ms, making the hardware suitable for both professional applications and gaming.

Image reproduction is supported by HDR10 and a brightness of 350 cd/m², with a static contrast ratio of 3500:1. The screen also covers 90 percent of the DCI-P3 color space, ensuring consistent color reproduction.

Integrated Docking and Communication Features

To minimize the need for external peripherals, the Vero CB343CURJ0 features several built-in functions. For communication, it includes a 5-megapixel infrared webcam that supports Windows Hello for biometric authentication, as well as a microphone array and two 5-watt speakers.

The device functions as a comprehensive docking station via a USB-C port capable of delivering up to 140 W of power, allowing the monitor to charge high-performance laptops while simultaneously transmitting data and video signals. Connectivity is enhanced by a 2.5 Gbps Ethernet port for stable wired networks and a built-in KVM switch, which allows users to control two different computer systems with a single set of keyboard and mouse. Additional inputs and outputs include two HDMI 2.1 ports and one DisplayPort 1.4 port.

Sustainability was a top priority in the monitor’s design: The housing is made of 85 percent post-consumer recycled plastic and 5 percent ocean-recovered plastic. The packaging is 100 percent recyclable, and the device is EPEAT Gold, ENERGY STAR, and TCO Certified Edge certified.

In terms of physical setup, the stand offers considerable flexibility: It allows for 150 mm of height adjustment, a tilt range of -5 to +35 degrees, and 178 degrees of swivel. For users who prefer alternative mounting solutions, the monitor is compatible with standard VESA mounts (100 x 100 mm).
