The device’s processing power handles generative AI tasks directly on the device. Users can upscaled images or create content without having to rely solely on the cloud. The device also supports specific Copilot+ features. These include “Live Captions” for meetings and “Recall,” which helps locate previously accessed files. A dedicated hotkey enables quick interaction with the assistant.

Graphics are handled by the built-in AMD Radeon 800M graphics card. This GPU handles high-resolution presentations and complex spreadsheets. It also works with AI tools to speed up content creation. For anyone who needs a large workspace, the PN55 supports four 4K displays simultaneously. The selection of ports is surprisingly extensive for its size, offering two LAN ports and up to six USB ports.

The case is made of aluminum. It’s compact. With dimensions of 130 × 130 × 34 mm and a weight of 0.6 kg, it fits even in tight corners or can be mounted on the back of a monitor via VESA. Asus has also prioritized ease of maintenance. The design is tool-free, so you can replace RAM or storage media without having to search for a screwdriver.

Security isn’t an afterthought here. A fingerprint sensor on the chassis enables biometric logins. fTPM 2.03 provides hardware-level protection. Some models also feature AMD PRO technologies for remote management and comprehensive hardware security. In terms of durability, the device has been tested according to U.S. MIL-STD-810H standards. This means it can run around the clock in demanding office environments or as a digital signage hub.
