The RE05AC series is powered by a Neural Processing Unit (NPU) with a performance of 6 TOPS, which serves as the foundation for AI-driven applications. Each device is equipped with 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal storage to enable multitasking and the execution of resource-intensive software. The displays feature a resolution of 3,840 x 2,160 pixels, ensuring a high level of detail for presentations and multimedia content.
The integrated audiovisual hardware includes a 50-megapixel 4K camera with a 115-degree diagonal field of view. This camera uses AI for automatic image alignment and voice tracking, eliminating the need for external camera accessories during video conferences. Audio is handled by an array of eight microphones with echo cancellation and a pickup range of up to 12 meters. The sound system consists of two 12-watt speakers and two 30-watt subwoofers with a total output of 84 watts.

Software Ecosystem and System Management
Thanks to certification under the Google Enterprise Device License Agreement (EDLA), the boards offer direct access to the Google Play Store as well as to applications from Google and Microsoft. System security is ensured by Google Play Protect, Safe Browsing, and regular system updates.
The series supports various collaboration tools, including EZWrite 6 and InstaShare 2 for wireless screen sharing. For IT management, BenQ provides the Device Management Solution (DMS) and the Account Management System (AMS). These cloud-based tools enable centralized management of user accounts, remote configuration, firmware updates, and integration with cloud storage services such as OneDrive, Google Drive, and Nextcloud.

As part of the “ClassroomCare” concept, the RE05AC series features a germ-resistant touchscreen certified by TÜV, SIAA, and SGS. To reduce user fatigue during extended use, the displays are equipped with anti-glare surfaces, Flicker-Free technology, and reduced blue light emissions. The screens offer a brightness of 500 nits to ensure good visibility even in brightly lit environments.
At the heart of the connectivity is a USB-C port that transmits data, video, audio, and touch signals via a single cable while simultaneously delivering up to 65 watts of power. Additional ports include three HDMI 2.0 inputs, one HDMI output, USB ports, and Gigabit Ethernet. The devices also feature an OPS slot for installing a slot-in PC.
Prices and Energy Efficiency
The RE05AC series is Energy Star-compliant. The 65-inch model (RE6505AC) typically consumes 75.8 watts during operation and less than 0.5 watts in standby mode.
