Team Group Unveils ACE 8K MicroSDXC Cards for High-Resolution Video Recording

The ACE 8K complies with the MicroSDXC 6.1 specification and the UHS-I standard. It is rated “V30 Video Speed Class” and “A2 Application Performance Class,” ensuring it can handle the write speeds required for 4K UHD and other high-bitrate video formats. The card is available in four different storage capacities: 128 GB, 256 GB, 512 GB, and 1 TB.

To verify hardware compatibility, the cards were tested in internal lab tests for compatibility with several popular imaging devices. Validated models include the DJI Pocket 3 and 4 series, the DJI Avata 360, as well as the Insta360 X5, Ace Pro 2, and Luna Ultra. The company notes that actual transfer speeds may vary depending on the camera model, firmware, and recording codec used.

Beyond speed and capacity, the ACE 8K is designed for durability in a variety of environments. It features protection against water, shocks, electrostatic discharge (ESD), X-rays, and extreme temperature fluctuations. From a manufacturing perspective, the cards are produced in lead-free environments and comply with the RoHS and REACH environmental standards.

The product comes with a lifetime warranty, though this is limited to 10 years for users in Japan.
