Performance Optimizations

The updated drivers offer frame rate improvements for users with Core Ultra Series 3 processors featuring integrated Arc graphics. In “Assassin’s Creed Valhalla” at 1080p, the average frame rate (FPS) increased by 7% on medium settings and by 11% on high settings. For “Farming Simulator 2022” at 1080p, the update delivers a 13% increase on medium settings and a 9% increase on high settings.

Users of Arc B-series discrete GPUs will notice a performance boost in “Kingdom Come: Deliverance II,” with an average FPS increase of 5% at 1080p resolution and Ultra settings.

Fixed Technical Issues

This version resolves several rendering and stability issues across various GPU families, including the Core Ultra Series 1, 2, and 3, as well as products from the Arc A and B Series.

Visual Fixes:

  • Grand Theft Auto V: Fixed an issue where objects appeared blurry when post-processing was set to “Very High” or “Ultra.”
  • Forza Horizon 6: Fixed poor image quality in reflections.
  • Jurassic World Evolution 3: Fixed flickering effects on water surfaces.
  • Endless Space 2: Visual display errors in the ship design interface for Arc B-series GPUs have been fixed. Stability and Compatibility Fixes:
  • Minecraft Java: Game crashes when using Riva Tuner Statistics Server or CapFrameX have been fixed.
  • Indiana Jones and The Great Circle: Performance issues in certain game scenes on Core Ultra Series 3 and Arc B-series hardware have been fixed.
  • Monster Hunter Wilds: Launch crashes have been fixed specifically for integrated graphics cards in the Core Ultra Series 1.

Known Issues and Current Limitations

Despite the updates, some known issues persist across various hardware configurations.

On many GPUs, including the Arc A, Arc B, and Core Ultra series, “Marathon” may experience intermittent object errors when anisotropic filtering is enabled. Additionally, “Payday 2” exhibits flickering in borderless mode on most supported hardware components. Stability issues persist for users who use XeSS Multi-Frame Generation in conjunction with CapFrameX or the Riva Tuner Statistics Server, which can cause the application to crash. Crashes may also occur with certain AI benchmarks, particularly Geekbench AI and Procyon AI Computer Vision. For users of the Arc A and B series, PugetBench for DaVinci Resolve Studio may crash unless the timeout slider is set to 1,500 seconds or higher.

Intel Graphics Software Updates

This release includes bug fixes for the associated management software:

  • A sporadic crash on Windows 10 when clearing all settings has been fixed.
  • A one-time crash that occurred when rearranging metrics for the first time has been fixed.

Currently known software issues include incorrectly displayed charts on the performance page, as well as problems when adding new metrics or reconnecting monitors.
