The laptop features an aluminum chassis and is available in four color options: Linen, Dusty Rose, Washed Denim, and Velvet Green. In terms of dimensions, the device is 13.5 mm thick and weighs about 1.15 kg. A key technical feature of the Dell 14S is its energy efficiency, which enables up to 21 hours of battery life when streaming video. This is made possible by the inclusion of a 750ED-PNCM battery. This specialized battery cell was designed for higher energy density, allowing the system to maintain lower operating temperatures under load and retain its capacity over a longer period without increasing the overall weight of the chassis.

Display Options and Computing Power

The Dell 14S features a display with a 16:10 aspect ratio, offering a choice of two configurations depending on your needs:

  • High-Performance Panel: A display with 2.8K resolution and a 120 Hz refresh rate.
  • Efficiency Panel: A display with 2K resolution and a 60 Hz refresh rate, designed for users who prioritize long battery life.

To handle multitasking and academic workloads, the laptop is equipped with Intel Core 5 and Core 7 Series 3 processors.

Connectivity and Built-in Features

For communication and connectivity, the laptop features a Full HD camera, far-field dual-array microphones, and stereo speakers. Wireless connectivity is provided via Wi-Fi 6E.

  • A standard headphone jack.

Security and access are managed via Windows Hello, which offers users biometric login options.
