The VOXARA is based on a 25-mm condenser capsule. This larger capsule size was designed to capture vocal characteristics with greater warmth and richness of detail compared to standard-sized capsules. To ensure professional-level audio quality, the microphone records signals with 32-bit depth, which offers a wide dynamic range. Thanks to this technical specification, the device can handle both quiet and loud input signals while maintaining sufficient headroom to prevent digital clipping.

In addition, the microphone operates at a sampling rate of 192 kHz. This high rate increases the precision of audio recording, reduces digital artifacts, and improves the reproduction of transients, resulting in greater overall sound accuracy.

Integrated Audio Management and Software

The device is fully compatible with Elgato Wave Link 3.0 and serves as a central hub for audio routing. Users can assign the microphone, game audio, music, and chat applications to independent channels. This allows for real-time mixing and balancing of audio sources without interrupting active sessions. Through the Elgato Marketplace, users can further customize their sound with professional VST and AU plug-ins, custom audio effects, and EQ presets.

Hardware-level control is handled via a built-in OLED display that shows real-time data on headset volume, microphone gain, balance, and mute status. A multifunction scroll wheel allows users to adjust these parameters, while a “tap-to-mute” sensor provides a quick way to mute the microphone—accompanied by a visual indicator confirming the current status.

Design and System Compatibility

The VOXARA features customizable RGB lighting with multiple modes, including multicolor effects, static colors, and a dynamic level mode that reacts to the audio signal. Lighting settings can be managed via Wave Link or synchronized with other iCUE-compatible hardware using iCUE Murals.

The device offers versatile mounting options, including a removable aluminum desk stand and adapters for standard microphone arms. It connects via a braided USB-C cable that provides plug-and-play functionality on Windows and macOS. The microphone is also compatible with PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and Nintendo Switch 2.
