The Googlebook 14 features a CNC-machined magnesium-aluminum frame in the color “Dusk Ash.” To enhance durability, the chassis incorporates nanoceramic technology and plasma electrolytic oxidation (PEO), resulting in a 9H scratch resistance rating. This choice of materials protects the device from abrasion, stains, and general wear and tear. Despite its structural reinforcement, the laptop weighs only 0.99 kg.
