Alphacool Unveils Apex Distro Plates for the Hyte Y70 and Y70 Touch Infinite

The new distribution plates are designed to replace the stock front panel of the Hyte Y70 series. Replacing the case’s front panel with the distribution plate places the water cooling loop at the center of the system’s architecture. To visually complement the hardware, the plates are available in both black and white.

The design consists of high-quality acrylic glass, which provides a clear view of the coolant flow. To enhance the visual impact of the loop, an integrated aRGB lighting system is included that highlights the internal channels of the manifold. An important technical detail of the Apex manifolds is the design of the connection system. The components use chrome-plated G1/4 brass fittings. Unlike conventional designs, where the fittings are screwed directly into the acrylic, Alphacool has implemented a two-part, interlocking connection system.

These fittings are secured by an O-ring seal. This mechanical approach reduces the direct physical stress on the acrylic during installation, thereby lowering the risk of material stress, cracks, and resulting coolant leaks. The mounting system for the manifold plates is designed for versatility in pump selection. The integrated mounts support both D5/VPP and DDC pump models, allowing users to configure their cooling loops according to their specific flow rate and space requirements.

In addition, Alphacool has introduced a special sealing cap for VPP and D5 pump mounts. With this accessory, users can securely seal off an unused pump position, allowing the pump to be relocated to another section of the cooling loop without compromising the loop’s integrity.
