PRO B550M WIFI6E: MicroATX Motherboards
The PRO B550M WIFI6E is a compact solution measuring 243.84 x 210 mm. This motherboard’s cooling design is minimalist and features a small heatsink for the B550 chipset.
Memory support is provided by two DDR4 DIMM slots, which can reach speeds of over 4600 MT/s when overclocked. In terms of expansion and storage options, the motherboard is equipped with one PCIe 4.0 x16 slot and two PCIe 3.0 x1 slots. Storage options include four SATA 6 Gb/s ports and a single M.2 slot operating at PCIe 4.0 x4 speeds. Wi-Fi connectivity is integrated via a pre-installed Wi-Fi 6E module.

PRO B550-S and B550-S WIFI6E: ATX Motherboards
The PRO B550-S and the B550-S WIFI6E are full-size ATX motherboards measuring 243.84 x 304.8 mm. These models feature a more comprehensive cooling infrastructure with dedicated heatsinks for the voltage regulator modules (VRMs), the chipset, and the M.2 slot to ensure thermal stability under load.
These ATX motherboards offer expanded memory capacity with four DDR4 DIMM slots that support up to 128 GB and overclocking speeds of up to 4800+ MT/s. The expansion options consist of two PCIe x16 slots and one PCIe x1 slot.

Storage capacity is provided via four SATA ports and two M.2 slots; the primary M.2 slot supports PCIe 4.0 x4, while the secondary slot operates at PCIe 3.0 x4. The rear I/O panel offers a wide range of connectivity options, including USB Type-A and Type-C ports with speeds of 5 Gbit/s, as well as USB Type-A and Type-C ports that support 10 Gbit/s. The B550-S WIFI6E variant features a pre-installed Wi-Fi 6E module, while the standard PRO B550-S model does not include one.
All three new motherboard models share the same basic features in terms of audio and wired networking.
They use the Realtek ALC897 7.1-channel audio codec for sound processing and the Realtek RTL8111H Gigabit Ethernet controller for network connectivity. MSI has not provided any specific details regarding retail prices or official international release dates for these three models.
