ASUS ROG DDR5 48 GB memory kits: ASUS launches its own RAM on the market

The available kit offers a total capacity of 48 GB and consists of two 24 GB DIMMs. These modules run at a frequency of DDR5-6000 and timings of 26-36-36-76. While the memory includes standard profiles for Intel XMP and AMD EXPO for broad hardware compatibility, ASUS has introduced a dedicated ROG mode. This profile extension is designed to provide optimized performance specifically for ROG Maximus, ROG Strix and ROG Crosshair motherboards.

For users looking for a coordinated hardware ecosystem, ASUS recommends pairing these modules with the limited edition ROG Crosshair X870E 2006 20th Anniversary Edition motherboard. The kits also feature integrated ARGB lighting that can be controlled via the Armoury Crate application with ASUS Aura Sync.

To coincide with the hardware release, ASUS announced the ROG Certified Memory Program. This initiative allows third-party DDR5 memory vendors to develop modules in the ROG design. These certified partner products will include the ROG logo, Aura Sync RGB compatibility and the ROG Mode profile extensions for special timings.

The price of the anniversary edition memory is RMB 5,999, which is approximately €760.
