Bambu Lab H3C 3D Drucker (Image © Bambu Lab)
The existence of the H3C was first revealed by an advertising banner that was accidentally published on Bambu Lab’s Australian online store. The image was discovered by a user named Equivalent-Visit-560 and shared on the BambuLab subreddit before the company removed the banner from the website.
Technical Specifications and Tool-Changing System
The H3C represents an evolution of the H series, particularly in terms of handling multiple materials. While the previously announced H2C uses a Vortek system in which individual nozzles are swapped out to enable seven-color printing via six nozzles, the H3C is expected to utilize a full tool-changing mechanism. The teaser shows a total of 9 nozzles, each displayed in a different color.
By integrating a tool changer, Bambu Lab is expanding its portfolio to compete with professional multi-tool systems. It will be exciting to see if a compatible AMS with filaments will be released.
Official prices for the H3C have not yet been announced. However, given the complexity of the hardware and the current market price of the [H2C][1]—with the AMS combo package priced at 2,149 euros—it’s safe to assume that the H3C will be a pricey purchase.
