The QSW-M2130 series is designed to reduce management complexity in multi-story offices or small business environments. The hardware functions as a hybrid device that serves as both an access switch for end-user devices and an aggregation switch for the distribution layer.

Utilizing twenty-four 2.5 GbE ports, the switches provide high-speed connectivity for workstations and NAS systems. At the same time, the 10GbE ports allow this traffic to be aggregated into the core network, creating a scalable topology that simplifies deployment.

The QSW-M2130P-2C2S26T model is specifically designed for modern wireless and surveillance infrastructures. It supports the IEEE 802.3bt PoE++ standard and offers a total power budget of 375W. Individual ports can deliver up to 90W or 45W, ensuring a stable power supply for high-demand devices such as Wi-Fi 7 access points, 4K IP cameras and digital signage, effectively eliminating bandwidth and power bottlenecks.

Both models are managed via the QNAP Switch System (QSS), which provides a graphical web interface for one-click port management and firmware updates. The switches support standard Layer 2 management features, including VLAN, QoS, LACP and IGMP Snooping to optimize bandwidth distribution.

To protect the network from malicious traffic and packet loss, the series has multiple layers of security such as Access Control Lists (ACL), DoS protection and Rapid Spanning Tree Protocol (RSTP).

In terms of hardware, the switches feature flexible 10GbE combo ports that support both RJ45 copper and SFP+ fiber options, allowing administrators to adapt them to existing cabling. The devices are manufactured in Taiwan to ensure the stability and quality of the hardware.
