The PB64 supports CPUs with a thermal design power (TDP) between 35 and 65 watts. These newer processors offer up to 1.29 times the multithreaded performance of the previous generation. To transfer data quickly, the system uses DDR5 memory with a clock speed of 6400 MHz.

The storage options are flexible. The device accommodates up to three drives, including two PCIe Gen 4 SSDs for fast boot times and application loading. This combination makes it a suitable replacement for larger tower PCs in environments where desk space is limited.

Connectivity is a key feature of this model. It supports up to four displays simultaneously. Users can connect displays via two DisplayPort ports, a USB4 Type-C port, and an additional configurable port that can be set to HDMI, VGA, or DisplayPort. The device also features eight high-speed USB ports on the front and back. That’s a high number for a mini PC of this size. Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4 are built in for wireless connectivity. When used with compatible routers, these standards ensure more stable connections during online meetings and faster file transfers.

The case measures 175 x 175 x 44.2 mm and is available in black or white. It can be opened without tools. This means that IT staff can open the case to upgrade RAM or SSDs without needing a screwdriver set. It is VESA-compatible for mounting and comes with a stand.

Reliability has been tested in accordance with MIL-STD-810H standards. The hardware has undergone extreme temperature, humidity, and vibration tests to ensure it can operate 24/7 in harsh conditions. Physical security is provided by a Kensington lock slot and an internal intrusion detection system that notifies administrators if the chassis has been opened.

For business customers, ASUS offers the “Corporate Stable Model” program. This service guarantees product availability for 36 months to prevent supply chain disruptions during large-scale deployments. It also includes access to the ASUS Control Center, a centralized software tool for monitoring servers, laptops, and desktops via a single interface.
