Both monitors use a Fast-VA panel with a 1500R curvature. The resolution is WQHD (3440 x 1440), offering a wider field of view than conventional 16:9 displays. This extra width is useful for simulation games where peripheral vision is important, or for productivity tasks that require multiple windows to be open side by side. Brightness and contrast meet DisplayHDR 400 certification standards. The panels achieve a peak brightness of 450 nits. This provides greater depth in open-world titles and more precise light reproduction across the entire screen.
AOC has released these monitors in two different performance classes. Both offer a GtG response time of 1 ms to display motion clearly. The CU34G4CA is the entry-level model with a high refresh rate. It runs at 180 Hz with an MPRT of 0.5 ms. This model’s connectivity options include two HDMI 2.0 ports and one DisplayPort 1.4 port.
For those who need even more speed, the CU34G4ZCA offers a native refresh rate of 240 Hz, which can be overclocked to 250 Hz. It also features a lower MPRT of 0.3 ms to further reduce motion blur. To support high-end graphics cards, this model offers two HDMI 2.1 ports and one DisplayPort 1.4.
Integrated Port Hub and KVM Switch
To support hybrid work environments, both monitors feature professional-grade connectivity. A standout feature is the USB-C port with 90 W Power Delivery. This allows you to transmit video signals and charge a laptop simultaneously using a single cable.
The monitors also feature a hardware-based KVM switch. This lets you control two separate systems—such as a gaming desktop and a work laptop—using just one set of keyboard and mouse. A built-in USB hub with two USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports provides additional connections for headsets or external drives.
Each device comes with a complete set of cables, including a 1.5-meter USB-C-to-USB-C cable, an HDMI cable, and a DisplayPort cable.
The monitors sit on an adjustable stand. You can adjust the height by up to 130 mm, tilt the screen between -3.5 and 21.5 degrees, and swivel it within a 40-degree range. This helps prevent neck strain during long sessions. Flicker-Free technology and a Low Blue Mode ensure eye comfort. These features reduce eye strain without compromising the screen’s response time. Software control is handled via the AOC G-Menu, which lets you adjust settings directly from your desktop instead of using physical buttons. Adaptive-Sync is also built-in to prevent screen tearing by synchronizing the monitor with the GPU’s output.
