To address the latency issues often associated with conventional memory architectures, the new MRDIMM utilizes the MRCD (Multiplexed Registering Clock Driver) and MDB (Multiplexed Data Buffer) architectures. This design enables simultaneous access to two ranks, increasing bandwidth by 60 percent compared to standard DDR5-8000-MT/s RDIMMs. By reducing the load on the memory controller and lowering latency, this architecture improves the data transfer speeds required for training AI models and implementing robotic automation.

Interestingly, the DDR5 12,800 MT/s MRDIMMs are compatible with standard DDR5 RDIMM slots, enabling straightforward system upgrades. To ensure operational stability, the hardware features MDB, MRCD, eFuse, and TVS technologies that protect the module from voltage spikes and ensure consistent data transmission. Additionally, the module is designed for energy efficiency to meet the sustainability requirements of modern data centers.

Availability and Specifications
