Unlike dual-mode displays that require users to lower the resolution or change screen settings to achieve the highest refresh rate, the 25G590B operates at a native refresh rate of 1000 Hz at 1920 x 1080 resolution, ensuring consistent visual conditions and maintaining sharpness of static and moving screen elements.
To further improve visual precision, the monitor uses Motion Blur Reduction Pro. This technology is designed to make fast-moving objects appear sharper so that players can follow lateral movements better. The hardware includes an IPS panel equipped with a low-reflection film to minimize glare and ensure uniform colour reproduction in different lighting conditions.
The monitor has a 24.5-inch screen, a size widely used in professional esports, to keep important game information in the user's natural field of vision. This reduces the need for excessive eye movement and improves situational awareness during the game.
The design includes a minimalist stand with a small footprint that allows an unrestricted range of motion for the mouse. For users who frequently switch between different settings, the stand includes calibration indicators that allow precise reproduction of the height, tilt and swivel settings. The design is rounded off by customizable ambient lighting via the UltraGear emblem.
The LG UltraGear 25G590B is expected to be available in the second half of 2026. However, LG did not name a price in its announcement.
