The V500 Mini Tower breaks with the traditional aesthetics of office computers in favor of a design that blends harmoniously into living spaces. The case features rounded contours and concealed air intakes to ensure a clean, uncluttered appearance. To help the device blend even more seamlessly into various interior styles, ASUS offers fabric- and wood-grain finishes. Additionally, the device features 4,000 Kelvin lighting, which creates a neutral lighting atmosphere in open spaces.

To ensure stable performance during prolonged use, the VM501MH employs an optimized cooling solution consisting of larger fans and copper heat pipes. This hardware configuration enables the system to efficiently dissipate heat while minimizing noise. In its special whisper mode, the device operates at a noise level below 23 dB, reducing distractions in quiet work or living environments.

At the heart of the internal architecture is a motherboard equipped with high-quality solid-state capacitors to increase the mean time between failures (MTBF). The system also features an 80 PLUS Platinum-certified power supply that ensures high efficiency in energy conversion. This certification signifies reduced power loss and lower heat generation compared to standard power supplies. Furthermore, the hardware has undergone enterprise-level manufacturing tests to verify long-term stability.

The V500 Mini Tower supports modern network connections via Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.4, enabling stable wireless communication for streaming and data transfer. The physical I/O panel is fully equipped and offers several USB-A ports as well as a USB-C port. For display output, the system features HDMI 2.1 and DisplayPort 1.4 interfaces, while network connectivity is provided via a Gigabit Ethernet port.
