Support for AI and creative tools
The May update introduces specific performance optimizations for modern AI tools. The driver provides improved support for ComfyUI and Llama.cpp, ensuring that these applications run more efficiently on compatible NVIDIA hardware.
Application bug fixes
This release fixes several critical software regressions. A driver crash in Adobe Lightroom Classic has been fixed. For Autodesk Forma users, NVIDIA has fixed a memory leak that occurred with OpenGL during camera orbit operations. In addition, flickering in the Foundry Mari 7.0v2 viewport has been fixed.
Although this is a studio driver, the update also contains corrections for certain game engines and titles. Specifically, it fixes image bugs in software that uses the Godot engine, corrects terrain visibility in Enshrouded and fixes light flickering in Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth.
Hardware and display fixes
NVIDIA has implemented several fixes for external display hardware and synchronization technologies. The driver fixes a resolution bug that limited the Apple Studio Display XDR to 480p. It also fixes a conflict with Samsung The Frame monitors where the “Game Mode” setting previously disabled important device features.
Further improvements have been made to system synchronization. The update increases the stability of multi-monitor configurations with V-SYNC and improves the smoothness of DLSS frame generation when it is active together with V-SYNC.
