In the area of personal safety, the company has introduced a smoke and CO detector. The device is designed for long-term operation with a 10-year backup battery and utilizes SuperLink technology to maintain connectivity across large properties and through physical barriers. The system is connected to the UniFi AI Speaker to provide accurate location data in the event of an incident, and administrators can manage false alarms via a dedicated mobile app.
Environmental monitoring has been enhanced with the introduction of a sensor to detect e-cigarette vapors and measure air quality. The device uses Power over Ethernet (PoE), so no separate power cabling is required. It enables real-time calibration and allows companies to set up native automations that trigger specific operational responses based on air quality data.
For access to facilities, the G3 fingerprint reader offers multiple authentication methods in one device, including biometric fingerprint scanning, PIN entry, Bluetooth and Touch Pass. To meet different infrastructure requirements, the reader supports native PoE for new builds and is compatible with the UniFi Retrofit Hub to upgrade existing security installations.
Two new devices have been added to the surveillance range. The G6 Mini Dome is a compact 100mm indoor camera that delivers 4K images with a 1/1.8-inch sensor. The hardware is built to last, has an IK08 vandal resistance rating and includes integrated two-way audio for real-time communication.
In addition, the AI MultiSensor 2 has been launched to optimize coverage in high traffic areas such as corridors and reception areas. By housing two independent 4K sensors in one device, the device reduces the total number of hardware installations required to monitor a room. The sensor is IP66 rated, ensuring it can be used both indoors and outdoors.
