The hotfix is primarily aimed at display-related malfunctions. For users with Ada architecture GPUs, the update fixes a frame pacing issue that occurred when G-SYNC was enabled on certain monitors. It also fixes an issue with Extended Display Identification Data (EDID) that previously caused some monitors to be incorrectly identified as NVIDIA NV failsafe. In addition, the driver fixes a power management bug that prevented certain monitors from waking up from sleep mode.

Performance and stability improvements for gaming environments have also been implemented. The update improves stability in multi-monitor setups when using V-SYNC together with DLSS Frame Generation. Specific stability optimizations for World of Warcraft are also included in the changelog.

In addition, the driver fixes problems in connection with the smooth motion function. Two major fixes have been made: one to eliminate ghosting and stuttering in selected DirectX 11 games and another to prevent system crashes when launching titles with the Smooth Motion feature enabled.

At the system level, NVIDIA has included general stability fixes to prevent errors that occur when the system is unable to reallocate memory.

As this is a Game Ready 610.52 Hotfix and not a fully certified WHQL driver, NVIDIA has classified the update as optional.
