The NL-LC1 series is based on the Asetek Emma V2 platform, a widely recognized standard for thermal performance and longevity in the AIO sector. To differentiate the system from conventional closed coolers, Noctua has integrated the NL-PNA1 pump silencer. This component utilizes a three-layer acoustic structure and a vibration damper to dampen both structural vibrations and airborne noise from the pump.
Operation control and fan technology
To enable users to balance cooling performance against noise levels, the pump has a special mode switch. The “Quiet” profile is designed to minimize noise, while the “Balanced” profile provides additional thermal headroom. A “Manual” mode is also available, giving the user full control over the speed range of the pump.

The series is offered in three sizes to accommodate different casing dimensions: 240 mm (NL-LC1-24), 360 mm (NL-LC1-36) and 420 mm (NL-LC1-42). Each unit is equipped with NF-A12x25 G2 or NF-A14x25 G2 fans. To ensure a consistent noise profile, Noctua has implemented a speed offset between the fans, which prevents the occurrence of beat frequencies and periodic humming that often occur when multiple fans are running at identical speeds.
Mounting and flexibility in component selection
The coolers utilize the SecuFirm2+ mounting system, which is designed to simplify installation and ensure broad compatibility with various CPU sockets. This system is designed to optimize power transfer to the CPU heatspreader, which contributes to improved heat conduction.
For users who require additional airflow around the CPU socket, the NL-LC1 offers modularity at the pump head. The standard magnetic metal shroud can be removed and replaced with the NL-ACF1 auxiliary fan. This optional accessory, which is available separately, provides targeted cooling for voltage regulator modules (VRMs), memory modules and M.2 SSDs.

Noctua NL-LC1 prices
The NL-LC1 series comes with the NT-H2 thermal compound and is covered by a 6-year manufacturer's warranty. The 240 mm model costs €219.90, the 360 mm model €249.90 and the 420 mm model €279.90.
