The ProArt GeForce RTX 5090 is designed for demanding AI workloads and high-resolution content creation. It has 32 GB of GDDR7 memory, providing the memory bandwidth required to process large assets and complex data sets. In terms of pure AI throughput, the card delivers 3,352 TOPs, making it a suitable tool for running large language models and sophisticated generative AI projects.

A key differentiator of this model is its 2.5-slot profile, which allows professionals to utilize more PCIe expansion slots or install the card in smaller chassis. To ensure stability in this smaller volume, ASUS has implemented a comprehensive cooling system. The design utilizes liquid metal thermal paste on the GPU chip and a vapor chamber to efficiently dissipate heat away from the core.

The cooling assembly is rounded off by 115 mm Axial-Tech fans and a double-ventilated backplate. According to the technical data, this dual-flow configuration is 27% smaller than conventional single-flow designs and at the same time increases cooling efficiency by around 11%.

Beyond pure performance, the ProArt RTX 5090 has hardware features designed to optimize studio environments. A dedicated USB Type-C port is integrated into the card, allowing users to connect portable monitors or daisy-chain multiple displays, reducing cable clutter in professional workspaces.

Visually, the card stands out from the traditional gaming aesthetic. It features a rounded front edge with brown laminate paneling that matches the natural wood aesthetic of the ProArt PA401 and PA602 Wood Edition (review) cases.

ASUS provides the “GPU Tweak III” utility program to manage the hardware. This software allows users to monitor system temperatures, adjust performance limits and customize fan curves to balance noise levels and performance. The tool also includes a one-click overclocking mode and a personalized on-screen display (OSD) wizard for real-time tracking of GPU metrics.

The ProArt GeForce RTX 5090 32 GB GDDR7 OC Edition is available from authorized retailers and online stores in Germany, Austria and Switzerland at a recommended retail price of EUR 3,499. Unfortunately, the graphics cards will be sold at a significantly higher price at launch:
