Ryzen 7 5800X3D 10th Anniversary
In times of scarce RAM and increasingly expensive CPUs, the Ryzen 7 5800X3D 10th Anniversary Edition is a possible way out and a step back to the affordable AM4 socket. The processor is an exciting socket AM4 CPU thanks to the 3D-V cache. This version is technically identical to the original Ryzen 7 5800X3D shown in 2022 and retains the same OPN and hardware specifications. The chip is still based on the Zen 3 microarchitecture and offers 8 cores with 16 threads at a boost clock speed of 4.50 GHz and comes with a whopping 96 MB of L3 cache. While the retail package includes a high-performance Carbice Ice Pad thermal pad and updated branding, it does not come with a BOXED cooler.
AMD describes the 5800X3D as the most powerful gaming processor for systems with DDR4 memory. To back up this claim, the company has compared the chip with the Intel Core i9-14900K. In a configuration in which both processors used 32 GB DDR4-3600 memory, the 5800X3D achieved an average 10% higher gaming performance than the Core i9-14900K. This anniversary edition will be available from June 25 for the equivalent of €357/US$350.

AMD also presented an AM5 CPU in the keynote: the Ryzen 7 7700X3D. This processor uses the more advanced Zen 4 architecture and also has the 3D V-Cache, which is particularly important for gaming. This improves gaming performance compared to the normal 7 7700 CPU. The 8-core/16-thread configuration is the most notable of its specifications. It also offers a boost clock of 4.50 GHz. The TDP is 12 0W and the total cache is 104 MB.
The Ryzen 7 7700X3D can be classified as a mid-range CPU within the current product range, with the Ryzen 9 9850X3D positioned above it. The processor is set to go on sale on July 16 and will cost around €335/US$330
