The update fixes several common problems that affect different hardware levels. Specifically, the driver eliminates image flickering and image interference in “Apex Legends” and fixes flickering during gameplay in “Euro Truck Simulator 2”. In addition, an important fix has been implemented for “Indiana Jones and the Great Circle”, which previously caused application crashes when path tracing was activated.
Certain fixes are tailored to specific hardware. Users of Core Ultra processors will find that crashes when changing graphics settings in Battlefield 6 have been fixed. Owners of Arc-B series discrete GPUs, on the other hand, will receive a fix for sporadic crashes in “Street Fighter 6”.
Despite these improvements, Intel has identified several known issues that remain unresolved in this release. Across the entire product range, users may encounter intermittent crashes in “Borderlands 4”, image errors in ‘Marathon’ when using anisotropic filtering and suboptimal reflection quality in “Forza Horizon 6”.
Core Ultra users can still experience application crashes in “NBA 2K26”, “Mafia: The Old Country” and “007 First Light”. In addition, ray tracing in “Hogwarts Legacy” can still lead to image errors in certain scenes.
For professional users and creatives, the driver update indicates occasional crashes when running “PugetBench” for “Adobe Premiere Pro” and “DaVinci Resolve Studio” on discrete GPUs. For “DaVinci Resolve Studio”, Intel recommends setting the timeout slider in the benchmark settings to 1500 seconds or higher to ensure that the tests complete successfully.
