AOC presents the 25G4ZR G4 Monitor with an E-Sports Focus

Its technical performance is focused on speed and precision. The monitor features a native refresh rate of 240 Hz, which can be overclocked to 260 Hz to fully harness the power of modern high-end graphics cards. Complementing the high refresh rate, the Fast-IPS panel minimizes motion blur and ghosting with a GtG response time of 1 ms and an MPRT of 0.3 ms. These specifications are designed to provide a competitive edge in first-person shooters (FPS), where visual clarity during fast movements is crucial.

To further reduce the delay between user input and on-screen action, the 25G4ZR features a “Low Input Lag” mode. This setting optimizes the internal processing path and prioritizes response speed over secondary image processing steps. In addition, Adaptive-Sync technology is integrated to ensure smooth image display by synchronizing the monitor’s refresh rate with the GPU, effectively preventing screen tearing during dynamic gameplay sequences.

The user’s physical well-being and health are supported by a comprehensive ergonomics package. The stand allows for 130 mm of height adjustment and supports tilting, swiveling, and rotating the screen. This flexibility is designed to promote healthy posture even during extended use. To reduce eye strain, AOC has implemented Flicker-Free technology along with a “Low Blue Light” mode, which reduces eye strain without compromising the color accuracy required for an immersive gaming experience.

The Fast-IPS panel also ensures wide visibility with 178-degree viewing angles and vibrant color reproduction, bridging the gap between pure speed and image quality.

The AOC GAMING 25G4ZR is scheduled to launch in July 2026. It will be available at a suggested retail price of 159 € or 149 CHF. So far, the only other model available is the AOC 24G4ZR on Amazon, priced at 104 € (Affiliate), which is even more affordable.
