The AW3926QW uses an RGB-stripe tandem OLED panel with a native resolution of 5120 x 2160. Thanks to this hardware configuration, the monitor achieves a maximum HDR brightness of 1,300 nits. To ensure color accuracy, the panel covers 99% of the DCI-P3 color space, with an average Delta E value of less than 2, which is somewhat low.

The image quality is further reinforced by VESA DisplayHDR True Black 500 and Dolby Vision certifications. The monitor features a polarizer that ensures deep blacks are maintained regardless of ambient lighting, and the RGB-striped subpixel arrangement is designed to prevent color fringing around text.

Performance and Gaming Features

The monitor offers a dual-resolution mode for various use cases. In native 5K ultrawide mode, it supports a refresh rate of 165 Hz. For competitive users, there’s an Esports mode that operates at 330 Hz at Full HD resolution. In all modes, the device maintains a response time of 0.03 ms (gray-to-gray extreme). To prevent screen tearing and stuttering, the AW3926QW is compatible with NVIDIA G-SYNC, AMD FreeSync Premium Pro, and VESA AdaptiveSync.

The AW3926QW follows the AW30 design language and features a 1500R curvature as well as narrow bezels on all four sides. The chassis is finished in Nova Black and has a slim profile.

Connectivity options include:

To address common concerns regarding OLED displays, the monitor uses a custom algorithm that predicts pixel stress to extend the panel’s lifespan. Alienware offers a three-year limited warranty that explicitly covers OLED burn-in.
