The Googlebook 14 is powered by the Snapdragon X Elite platform, which is designed to strike a balance between high computing power and energy efficiency. Thanks to this hardware choice, the device can maintain a slim profile of 10.91 mm while achieving a battery life of up to 19 hours. To regulate heat dissipation and ensure performance stability, the laptop features a vapor chamber cooling system.

The device is equipped with a 14-inch 3K OLED touchscreen that offers a variable refresh rate of up to 120 Hz. For professional communication and multimedia, the laptop features a 5-MP camera with built-in facial recognition, four speakers with HP Audio Boost 2.0, and the ability to connect up to two external UHD monitors. A unique hardware feature, the “Glowbar,” provides visual indicators for battery and charging status even when the lid is closed.

Android Ecosystem and AI Integration

A primary technical goal of the Googlebook 14 is to bridge the gap between mobile and desktop environments. Through several specific features, the device enables a synchronized experience with supported Android smartphones:

  • Quick Access: This allows users to access files stored on their Android device directly through the laptop’s file browser.
  • “Cast my Apps”: With this feature, users can open and use supported smartphone apps on the laptop’s interface without the need for a separate installation.

The integration of Google Gemini provides an AI-powered productivity layer. The system uses Gemini to offer proactive suggestions, a “Magic Pointer” for retrieving information, and “Rambler”—a tool that converts unstructured thoughts into formatted text.

The Googlebook 14 is designed to meet specific environmental standards. The chassis is made of recycled metal, and the keyboard components are manufactured from post-consumer recycled materials and ocean-bound plastic. The packaging comes from certified sustainable sources. Thanks to these efforts, the device has earned EPEAT Gold certification with Climate+.

HP Googlebook 14 Prices and Software Bundles

Starting in October, the HP Googlebook 14 will be available at a base price of 1,199 EUR. The purchase price includes a 12-month subscription to Google AI Pro at no additional cost. This membership offers expanded access to Gemini, Flow, and Gemini Notebook, as well as 5 TB of cloud storage. Additionally, the device comes preloaded with a range of professional and entertainment applications, including Adobe Photoshop, CapCut, YouTube Premium, and NVIDIA GeForce NOW.
