ASUS ZenBook 14 UX3480QA with Snapdragon X announced

The Zenbook 14 uses a material called Ceraluminum, which combines the properties of aluminum with those of high-tech ceramics. According to the technical specifications, this composite material is up to three times harder than conventional anodized aluminum, resulting in increased resistance to scratches and impacts. In addition, the surface is designed to be stain-resistant and easy to clean. The device is available in three color options: Komodo Coral, Arctic Blue, and Zabriskie Beige. To make it easier to carry, the laptop weighs 1.1 kg and has a case thickness of 13.9 mm.

The system is powered by the Snapdragon X processor, positioning the ZenBook 14 as a Copilot+ PC. A key component is the Neural Processing Unit (NPU), which can deliver up to 45 TOPS (trillion operations per second), enabling AI functions to be executed locally on the hardware. The internal architecture is supported by LPDDR5X RAM and PCIe SSD storage. For data protection and system security, ASUS has integrated Microsoft Pluton, Windows Hello, and Passkey support.

The device features a 14-inch OLED NanoEdge display with a 16:10 aspect ratio. The panel features a response time of 0.2 ms and high DCI-P3 color gamut coverage. To reduce eye strain, the display is certified by TÜV Rheinland for Low-Blue-Light technology. Audio and communication are handled via Dolby Atmos and AI-based noise cancellation. The hardware includes a Full HD IR camera that is compatible with Windows Hello and AI-powered video conferencing tools.

The ZenBook 14 is equipped with a 50-Wh battery. ASUS specifies a maximum runtime of over 30 hours, depending on usage. The device supports fast charging, allowing the battery to reach 50 percent of its capacity within 30 minutes. Connectivity is provided via Wi-Fi 6E and a range of physical ports, including HDMI 2.1 and USB-C ports that support both Power Delivery and connection to external displays. The laptop also features an ErgoSense keyboard and comes with a three-year manufacturer’s warranty.
