The C1 Color Cutter was designed to eliminate the need for multiple machines when creating printed and cut graphics. In standard industry workflows, users typically print a design on a separate inkjet printer and then transfer the material to a cutting plotter, using registration marks for alignment. The C1 eliminates this step by combining printing and cutting into a single system.

By eliminating the need for registration marks, the device increases the usable print area on the material and reduces the likelihood of alignment errors and material waste. This functionality is intended for various applications, including the production of stickers, vinyl graphics, heat-transfer vinyl (HTV), and textile finishes.

Printing Specifications and Ink Technology

The device uses CMYK inkjet technology to produce full-color designs. xTool has implemented a special ink formulation called “Duraproof,” which is waterproof and lightfast. When applied to textile materials, the ink withstands up to 30 standard household wash cycles, according to the manufacturer.

Scanning and Hardware Features

The integrated CIS scanner provides a 1:1 preview of the materials to be processed. This allows the operator to position designs precisely while also utilizing scrap material to minimize waste. The scanning system also supports automatic detection of cutting contours and the arrangement of motifs for maximum space efficiency. In addition, processing parameters can be configured and applied via QR codes.

AI-Powered Design with Atomm Software

The hardware is supported by Atomm software, which uses artificial intelligence to optimize the design process. The software can convert text specifications and images directly into vector files suitable for precision cutting. Additional software features include:

  • Automatic background removal from images.
  • Custom typography and font design.
  • Conversion of standard images into line drawings.
  • Creation of templates for three-dimensional paper models.

According to technical specifications, these AI tools are designed to reduce design preparation time from several hours to just a few minutes.

The C1 Color Cutter supports a wide range of tools and materials to meet various industrial and creative needs. Available tools include:

Pricing and Market Availability

The xTool C1 Color Cutter will be available for pre-order worldwide starting October 20, 2026, with a starting price of 449 euros. Customers can reserve a unit with a 10-euro deposit. Pre-order packages include various bundles, such as the C1 Bundle with an Atomm membership.

Early adopters will also receive a materials kit with over ten different craft supplies, as well as a discount card that grants a 20 percent discount on materials from the xTool store for 180 days. Final payment and worldwide shipping are scheduled to begin on November 5, 2026.
