The microphone’s key feature is its built-in 32-bit digital signal processor (DSP). The DSP supports bit depths of 24 and 32 bits as well as sampling rates of 48 and 96 kHz, and offers increased headroom to compensate in real time for sudden volume spikes and varying distances between the speaker and the microphone. By processing audio directly on the hardware, the device reduces clipping and distortion while minimizing the computational load on the connected computer.

The Seiren V3 Chroma’s 32-bit DSP uses automated audio tools to suppress ambient noise. Built-in AI-based noise reduction, automatic EQ adjustment, compression, and limiter functions internally filter out background noise such as computer fans or room reverberation, ensuring a balanced sound immediately after connection.

The microphone is equipped with a 16-mm supercardioid condenser capsule. This polar pattern focuses on the user’s voice while attenuating ambient noise such as keyboard and mouse clicks, making the microphone suitable even for rooms without professional acoustic treatment. For real-time control, the device features a multifunctional “Tap-to-Mute” sensor on top. In addition to muting the audio, users can double- or triple-tap to trigger specific actions via Razer Synapse, including changing lighting effects or activating the digital-to-analog limiter.

The device features RGB lighting that reacts to streaming events. Using the Razer Synapse software and the Streamer Companion app, the lighting can be configured to respond to viewer interactions, chat emojis, notifications, and specific in-game events.

It connects via a USB-C-to-USB-A interface, enabling plug-and-play functionality with major streaming platforms such as OBS Studio and Discord. Advanced settings, such as adjusting the sample rate and mixing volume levels, are managed through the Synapse software suite.
