AMD EPYC 9006: Venice Zen 6 Server CPUs releasing in 4 Product Lines
AMD has unveiled its EPYC “Venice” server processors, which are based on the Zen 6 microarchitecture. They are divided into four different product lines designed for various data center workloads: the EPYC 9006 (Socket SP7) for general-purpose servers, the EPYC 9006 (Socket SP8) for node-optimized enterprise performance, the EPYC 9006X SP7 for high-performance computing (HPC) thanks to expanded caches, and the EPYC 9006 LP “Verano,” which is specifically designed for AI host nodes with LPDDR memory.
